Kin Bineola Rear Wall

rear wall

This is the back wall, nearest the canyon wall and probably the north wall. This is in effect the long line of the the capital E floor plan. The white on some stones is probably plaster. You can see that ledge I commented on, although it doesn't seem to go the full length. Remember this great house was expanded repeatedly. I assume the ragged holes are from damn pothunters, but I suppose the could have been done by the Anasazi themselves.

5 or 6 doorways
Notice the five doorways, so regularly arranged that you can easily imagine where a sixth doorway should be. Each of these doorways probably also aligned with other interior doorways. Imagine such regularity and planning without paper floorplans.
